You can sense Deni Gauthier’s spirit when you see him perform. The subtle twinkle in his eye. The understated, almost whispering voice that sings beautiful folk and rock songs about love, life, parenthood, family, and growing old. Deni has been amusing and enthralling audiences in North America and Europe for over 15 years. Along the way, he has recorded four studio albums, including his most recent record, the ambitious He Said/She Said. A gifted songwriter and compelling storyteller, he was described by New Canadian Music as a “major talent worthy of greater exposure.” That exposure is beginning to come. Deni has enjoyed substantial radio play on CBC and other stations, and has twice been named a semi-finalist for the prestigious International Songwriters Competition. He has performed with luminaries including Emm Gryner, Jason Collette, Barny Benthal, Linda McRae, and many others. Whether he is performing solo or with his band, Deni delivers a dynamic emotional experience. Expect laughter and brace for tears, but most all, get ready for a memorable performance by a seasoned pro.
